WHO WE ARE
Safe Guilford is a local coalition that brings together health and safety experts, businesses, government departments, community-based organizations and volunteers to address accidental injury and deaths. Founded in 2001 at Moses Cone Hospital in Trauma Services, Safe Guilford works in the areas of child passenger safety, bike safety, pedestrian safety and falls prevention. Safe Guilford also leads Safe Kids Guilford County.
At home, at play and on the way
Safe Kids Guilford County is the local coalition of Safe Kids Worldwide, a global organization dedicated to protecting kids from accidental injuries, the number one cause of death to children in the U.S. In Guilford county, we focus on car safety, bike and pedestrian safety and home safety.
